New bridge for London's Dukes Meadows regeneration

TCH lifts bridge sections ready for transport by water.

A new pedestrian footbridge is a key feature of the ongoing major regeneration project for Dukes Meadows, one of the largest open spaces in London. Dukes Meadows is located in the London Borough of Hounslow, alongside the river Thames.

The new bridge will form part of the Thames Path and will be installed under the existing Barnes Bridge. Read more about the Dukes Meadow bridge project managed by Knights Brown.

Our team worked at the Port of Tilbury to unload the prefabricated bridge sections onto trestles, ready for the engineers to make final adjustments. The sections will be transported to their new position by boat along the river.
