We have always supported local grass roots sport and our association with Sean is a new commitment to back an outstanding local talent.
Sean has recently been signed by legendary promoter Frank Warren and joins his younger brother Sam Noakes in the famous Queensberry ranks.
26-year-old Sean is a former successful amateur star and makes his professional debut on 20 May. The fight is at London’s iconic York Hall in Bethnal Green and was postponed from the original date of 29 April. *Update* - Sean won a decisive victory in his first professional fight.
Sean said, “Thanks to TCH for all the support, I appreciate it. It’s great to be turning professional which has been a long time coming.”
After falling out of love with boxing at 18 and stepping away from the ring for a few years, Sean made a dramatic comeback winning his first tournament. He said, “My goal now is to finish the first couple of years undefeated, with a good knockout ratio, and then look forward to titles.”
Sean’s four round debut competition will be featured on BT Sport.
